MAI entered THE Rankings of the best engineering universities in the world

For the first time, Moscow Aviation Institute entered the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject: Engineering and Technology.On November 29, 2018, Times Higher Education (THE) published the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject: Engineering and Technology. Among all the universities in the world, MAI is ranked in the 601-800 group. THE evaluates universities according to the level of teaching, scientific potential, quotation of scientific work, the degree of international integration and relations with the industry.The inclusion of MAI in such a significant world ranking is the result of systematic work on the transition of the university to a new model of engineering education. The educational programs of MAI are regularly updated in accordance with the needs of the leaders of the high-tech industry. MAI also successfully develops partnership programs with major players in the Russian and international high-tech markets, which contributes to the growth of R&D level of the university.All this has a beneficial effect on the global reputation of MAI in the academic environment and industry, creating new opportunities for the growth and development of the university thereby contributing to the growth and strengthening of MAI positions in world rankings.
