Orientation meeting for freshmen students of English-medium programs
On October 1, 2018 was held the orientation meeting for first-year students of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree English-medium programs of MAI.
The orientation meeting was organized by International Department of MAI with the goal of getting acquainted international students with MAI and Russia. International students fr om India, Malaysia, France, Egypt, China, Zimbabwe, South Africa and many other countries choose MAI as the educational basis for their future. They will study on directions of “Aircraft Engineering”, “Spacecraft Engineering”, “Propulsion Engineering” and “Control Systems and Computer Science in Engineering”. The language of instructions is English medium.
Freshmen were welcomed by the Head of International Department Olga Pogosyan and representatives of MAI faculties and institutes.
Students were given a presentation about registration issues and accommodation rules at MAI, sport and creative opportunities on campus. Especially for freshmen were created video guides on how to get to the main points of MAI educational life: to the International Students’ Educational Center, Pre-University program Faculty and the way from dormitory to MAI campus.
After the meeting was held a Q&A session, wh ere representatives of International Department detailed answered all freshmen's questions. Orientation meetings help students to quickly adapt to a new environment and meet new friends among fellow students.
