First Stage of Internship for International Students is Over
On August 9, 2018 the first stage of work experience internship for international students of MAI was completed at the "Vympel" State Engineering Design Bureau JSC named after I.I. Toropov (Moscow).
49 second and third -year students from 20 countries had an internship at the JSC “Vympel” . They study in Russian at the Faculty No. 1 “Aircraft Engineering”, Institute No. 2 “Propulsion Engineering”, Institute No. 3 "Control Systems&Computer Science in Engineering" and Institute No. 6 "Spacecraft Engineering" of MAI.
Within two weeks groups of students had visited the JSC “Vympel” and had had lectures and seminars delivered by PhD professors, high-class engineers and designers in Aerospace engineering. At the end of the internship each student received a Certificate of practice.
“For me the internship at the JSC “Vympel” is a great opportunity, because I love and adore aircrafts. It is always interesting to know how various details work and how they are related to each other. Many aerial devices fly by the same principles, so I think the received information about aircraft engineering will help me in research and in the future, because I would like to be a pilot”, - shared his impression Adesulu Oluvashogo Ebun Ayolide, a third-year student of the Aircraft Engineering program from Nigeria.
For the first time in the history of MAI, international students had an internship in a Russian industrial company. The second part of international students' group will have an internship stgarting from September 17, 2018. In October 2018 such practice will be held for students who study on MAI English-language programs.
