Branch "Voskhod" of MAI - winner of the Open International Student Internet Olympiads

Since 2008, Open International Student Internet Olympics are held annually in Russia as a way to identify talented youth people and improve educational processes.

Over the past two years more than 100 students of MAI branch "Voskhod" in Baikonur took part in the Open International Student Internet Olympiads.

MAI students demonstrated their competences in such disciplines like Physics, Mathematics, Theoretical mechanics, Informatics, Ecology, Economics and Sociology. Based on the results of the primary selection, 34 people qualified for the second and final round of the Olympiad, which was held in the form of computer testing on-line.

According to the results of the second round, 13 MAI students showed a high level of preparation and became prize-winners, having dignity presented their university and the city of Baikonur.

By the decision of the organizing committee of the Internet Olympiads, the branch "Voskhod" of MAI was awarded the honorary title "Winner of the Open International Student Internet Olympiads of 2018".
