MAI Boosts International Activity: Results of 2017 Admission Campaign
The participants discussed the principal achievements of the campaign and set the roadmap for further activities aimed at increasing the efficiency of admission procedures in 2018.
Alexey Zarechenskiy, Head of International Projects Management presented the results of the 2017 admission campaign and talked about measures that made it possible to achieve high results. He underlined the participation in international exhibitions, new procedures for online exams and the activity of MAI ambassadors – the international students who promoted university’s programs in their own countries. He emphasized that MAI was one of the Russian universities that gained the lead in the percentage of international students admitted which was an important indicator for world university rankings.
In 2018 Moscow Aviation Institute is to put into practice the Personal Account service for interaction with prospective students, increase the number of joint Master’s programs and participate in specialized exhibitions. All that measures are aimed at helping international students find the shortest path to our university.
Praveen Sankaran, second-year master's degree student from India shared his experience of representing MAI as an ambassador and talked about his startups he had realized in the university.
At the end, solemn awards were given to international students from Egypt, Bangladesh India, and Korea who took an active part in the 2017admission campaign.
