MAI Participates in Foreign Student Assembly
On December 15 Maikop State Technological University hosted All-Russia Foreign Student Assembly. More than 350 international students gathered to discuss the best practices for social adaptation and elaborate measures for fostering community engagement to universities’ activity.
Moung Htang Om (Myanmar), a postgraduate of Moscow Aviation Institute, Aircraft Engineering Department was an official representative of our university.
After the solemn opening ceremony, the assembly continued in the format of the conference. Students and members of faculty shared the experience of universities’ international activity. The agenda was focused on the issue of increasing the number of foreign students studying in Russia. Currently, more than 240 thousand guests from all over the world are studying in the country.
The program ended with the festival of national cultures "We are United!" and the sightseeing tour around Maikop and its surroundings.
