Working Meeting with Le Quy Don Technical University

On May 24th, 2017, a delegation from Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), headed by Mrs. Pogosyan Olga, Deputy Head of International Department, and Mr. Alexey Zarechenskiy, Head of International Projects, had a working meeting with Le Quy Don Technical University (LQDTU).

Attending the meeting, on the LQDTU side were representatives of Office of International Cooperation, Faculty of Engineering Management, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and Center of Advanced Technology.

At the meeting, Mrs. Olga Pogosyan introduced changes in organizational structure and infrastructure of MAI, especially the new laboratory systems such as: Avionic Integration, Composite Materials, Mathematic Modeling, Electrification Engineering Systems, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).The Laboratory of PLM particularly draws attention from LQDTU among them. PLM is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides a product information backbone for companies and their extended enterprise.

The two sides exchanged on the working processes and operational costs for this Laboratory. The MAI wants to receive LQDTU students, lecturers to study and transfer technology in PLM program.

It is clear that the working meeting will potentially open up new collaboration activities between the two universities in the future.
