MAI students suggested ways of information protection and labor market assessment
On 8 February, the Day of Russian Science, Institute of Engineering Physics held solemn meetings where the results of XII open competition of student scientific and practical work were summed up. 50 students of MAI Training Center “Integration” presented 47 reports on research in areas of "Information Security", "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science", "Economics" and "Management".
Competition Commission appreciated the most scientific and practical activities with diplomas and cash prizes. The main criteria were the novelty of the research, scientific and practical significance of the results. Winners were determined separately for each training program.
The first place among undergraduates won the first-year student Anna Muradova with her work: “Development of the detection algorithm of moving objects at a distance of less than one pixel at a series of images”." The algorithm can be used in the analysis systems for the control of dangerous movements of elements of different designs.
Also the first place won a magistracy sophomore Natalia Fedorova with her work dedicated to the assessment of the labor market demand for the Moscow region in terms of geopolitical transformations. Practical recommendations were developed and focused on reducing the imbalance of supply and demand in the labor market of the Moscow region. Such recommendations can be used in regional and municipal authorities in developing programs and implementing state policy in the field of employment.
Specialty fourth year Student Mark Kibatov has developed a comprehensive method for increasing data protection transmitted over the Internet. The method can be used in government, banking and organizations that have protected information and exchange of information via Internet.
The work by fourth year student Polina Danshina and third year student Pavel Izgarshev on the theme: “Development of comfort evaluation system business infrastructure for industrial enterprises” was marked as a very good one. The system of superior methods for assessing the business infrastructure of the regional economy was offered. The system allows carrying out a baseline assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the functioning of industrial enterprises on the territory of a particular industry. The evaluation results can be used to make investment decisions and decisions in the field of high-tech production facilities management in a crisis state of the regional economy. Students Anna Muradova and Natalia Fedorova have published the results of their research articles in scientific journals from the list of HAC.
Contemporaneously the X International scientific and practical conference "Youth and Innovation" was held in Serpukhov. 27 MAI students took part in it. 8 students were awarded with diplomas.
