Two Summer Schools for Chinese students opened in MAI
On July 15, two Summer educational programs for students from China opened at Moscow Aviation Institute. 79 people became active participants.
Students of Northwestern Polytechnic University, the leading university for engineers of the aviation and space industries in China, will study until July 28 under the program "Approaches to the development of high-load aircraft structures of a wing caisson". There are two tracks available. At the Aviation Engineering track, students will learn how modern aircraft designs are created and master the full design cycle of high-load structures. The Avionics track is aimed at mastering the basic principles of building avionics systems and learning how to design their architecture. The excursion program with visits to the sights of the capital and acquaintance with Russian traditions during workshops is also included.
The second intensive is held for students of Zhejiang University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China. "Racing aeroplane aerodynamics and its design of composite materials." Until July 26, the students will learn the basics of aerodynamics and the principles of using modern composite materials in aviation and get acquainted with the culture of Russia during excursions to the most significant places of Moscow.
Summer aerospace-related programs for international students have been held annually since 2018 at MAI.
