MAI is one of the top Russian universities concerning the level of salaries of IT graduates

Moscow Aviation Institute took the eighth place in the ranking of Russian universities taking into account the salaries of graduates working in IT. The rating was provided by the Superjob service. The salaries of young professionals who graduated from the university in 2017-2022 were evaluated.

According to Superjob, MAI graduates who studied IT, have an average salary of 185,000 rubles per month during the first five years after graduation. Compared to the last year, this figure increased by 25,000 rubles.

MAI is a provider of personnel for the IT industry in such areas as artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data analysis, cloud services, the Internet of Things, design of high-load Internet services, supercomputer modeling technologies for complex technical systems, virtual/augmented reality. The university has launched seven Master's degree IT programs for training personnel in partnership with large companies. In 2022, in accordance with the MAI development model, “digital department” was opened as part of the “Priority 2030” program. Here, students can get an additional IT specialty to their main one for free.
