MAI-SJTU students became prize-winners of the international competition of student innovation and entrepreneurship "Internet+"

The VIII Chinese International Competition of Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship "Internet+" was held on the basis of Tianjin University.

Online participation in the event was attended by graduate students and undergraduates studying under the joint MAI-SJTU program: Song Guanchen, Miao Xizhui, Ho Liin, Artem Shubin, Yin Yufei and Yang Jiae.

For the work "Search and rescue system coordinated from the air", MAI residents were awarded the third place in the section "Innovation and Entrepreneurship".

— At the competition, we presented a project of an integrated system for the search and rescue of people in disasters and missing persons in uninhabited places. The integrated system includes channels of interaction with ground rescue services, satellite navigation, as well as a system of air and ground interaction directly in search and rescue zones.

The paper presents the plan of development, further optimization and implementation of this system, said one of the authors of the project Artem Shubin.
