MAI teams won 16 medals at the Moscow Student Sports Games

Following the results of the 2022/2023 XXXV Moscow Student Sports Games, MAI teams became winners in 16 disciplines. During their participation in the MSSG, MAI athletes won the championship in mini-football for the first time.

Bronze medals were awarded to the MAI men's basketball teams (coaches Andrey Pavlenko and Svetlana Volokhova) and football (coaches Sergey Isaev and Sergey Manykin), the women's tennis team (coach Ivan Ilyichev) and the MAI karate team (coach Sergey Shatunov).

The silver medalists appeared in rowing (coach Vitaly Eliseev), women's capoeira (coach Sergey Shatunov) and underwater sports (coach Sergey Tsarev).

MAI students collected the most gold awards, ahead of their rivals from other universities in 3×3 basketball (coach Svetlana Volokhova), mini-football (coaches Sergey Isaev and Sergey Manykin), women's karate (coach Sergey Shatunov), kettlebell lifting (coach Yaroslav Yakubenko), rowing (coach Vitaly Eliseev), rugby-7 (coaches Valery Khromenkov and Andrey Zhigulsky), tug of war (coaches Alexander Aksenov and Alexey Merzlikin) as well as bullet shooting from pneumatic and small-caliber weapons (coach Svetlana Vorobyova).
