More than 800 reports presented at “Gagarin Readings” Scientific Conference
The work of the XLIX international youth scientific conference "Gagarin Readings" at Moscow Aviation Institute is over. Participants from 8 countries and 86 cities of Russia presented their projects.
The event was carried out from April 11 to April 14, 2023 offline. Students, postgraduates and young scientists of higher educational institutions, research centers, enterprises and institutes under the age of 27 took part in it.
Andrey Korolev, the grandson of the legendary Soviet designer Sergey Korolev, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, became the special guest of the “Gagarin Readings. He told the audience about his childhood years, his passion for gliders and his famous grandfather's great love for space.
The scientific program of the conference included topical sections in nine areas: “Aviation systems”, “Aviation, rocket engines and power plants”, “Control systems, computer science and electric power”, “Information and telecommunication technologies of aviation and rocket technique”.
There was also an international section for reports in English. Representatives of Kazakhstan, India, China, Colombia, Vietnam, Mali and Korea presented their projects.
1,270 young scientists applied, of which 107 were mentioned in two papers, and 29 people were the authors of three papers. 847 reports were delivered in total.
Moscow Aviation Institute, Samara University, VVA Air Force, KAI, VOENMEKH Baltic State Technical University named after D.F. Ustinov, MGTU GA participated most actively. CIAM named after P.I. Baranov and JSC “UEC” became the most active participants among enterprises.
On March 30, a school session of “Gagarin Readings” was held, more than 200 young scientists delivered reports.
