MAI won 6 medals at "Archimedes"
On March 30, the XXVI Moscow international exhibition of inventions and innovative technologies "Archimedes" completed its work. Six of the seven developments presented by Moscow Aviation Institute received awards. The university was awarded with Diploma of respect and gratitude. The exhibition was actively attended by representatives of the authors' teams of inventors, who told about their results, defended their achievements in front of the jury.
The gold medal for prefabricated cellular fillers that allow to increase strength and reliability of the bearing surfaces of aircraft – wings, flaps, propeller blades, keel, rudder was given to the author of the project Andrey Mikhailovich Kolpakov (Institute No. 1, research associate of NIO-101, Ph.D.).
Two silver medals were awarded for the development of a multifunctional kermet (Dmitry Alekseevich Ivanov, Institute No. 11, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences) and for a transformer sensor for measuring direct, alternating and pulsed current (Nikolay Sergeevich Ivanov, Institute No. 3, NIO-310, Candidate of Technical Sciences).
Three bronze medals went to the projects of a robot inspector for the ISS Andrey Aleksandrovich Zhukov (Institute No. 12, Professor, Head of the Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences), a device for measuring the antenna gain in a wide frequency band by Elena Mikhailovna Dobychina (Institute No. 4, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences) and installation for thermal disposal of toxic substances Vasily Vasilyevich Semenov (Institute No. 2, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences).
The event was held in Moscow from March 28 to March 30. Its main purpose is to create favorable conditions for the development of inventive and innovative activities in the country. The selection of projects for the MAI exposition and their further promotion and commercialization is carried out by the Technology Transfer Center "Aerospace" – division in the structure of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of MAI (ctt@mai.ru ).
