More than 1,000 people celebrated Maslenitsa in MAI

The celebration was organized on February 20 at Moscow Aviation Institute due to the initiative of the Youth Policy Department. More than 1,000 people took part.

On the MAI Main Square buffoons invited the guests to the holiday and inspired everyone to participate in folk amusements.

Hat fights and running in bags gave chance to test the agility and speed of the participants. Powerlifting was for the strongest. Traditional team tug-of-war competitions were also included in the program.

On one of the interactive platforms, the knowledge of the traditions of holiday was tested. The participants with the highest number of correct answers were awarded prizes.

And of course, the pancakes were cooked too! The field kitchen worked at the festival, where everyone was treated with pancakes and tea.
