Tết Nguyên Đán – Vietnamese New Year – celebrated in MAI

More than 120 Vietnamese students celebrated Vietnamese New Year on January 22.

MAI, RUDN, Pushkin Institute, MEPhI students and students from other Moscow universities took part in the celebration at the Student Cultural Center of Moscow Aviation Institute.

MAI Department of International Activities became the organizer of the event. Students demonstrated the dance art of Vietnam and power acrobatics. The students sang national Vietnamese songs. Guests participated in the New Year's lottery with cash prizes.

The Vietnamese New Year ended with traditional treats and a photo shoot against the background of blooming peach branches, which are the symbol of the holiday in Vietnam.
