"Motion power" Spartakiad

On October 9, the traditional "Motion power" MAI Spartakiad was carried out at the Nauka Stadium. More than 700 MAI students from all institutes and three branches took part in the competition: “Rocket and Space Technology”, “Strela” and the Stupinsky MAI branch. Another 700 people came to support the athletes.

The competition for medals was held in nine disciplines: volleyball, streetball, mini-football, rugby touch, table tennis, athletics, kettlebell lifting, tug of war, push-ups and pull-ups.

Students of the Institute No.6 "Aerospace" won the first place in the team competition. The silver was taken by the team of the Institute No.12 "Aerospace high-tech technologies and production", and the students from the Institute No. 3 "Control Systems, Informatics and Electric Power Engineering" took the third place.
