MAI rugby team won UNIVERSITY CUP-2022

On September 24, the UNIVERSITY CUP-2022 was held at the Rugby Academy field. This is the annual pre-season intercollegiate sports tournament, carried out under the support of the Department of Sports of Moscow.

MAI team took part in the competition among the strongest student teams in Moscow. Despite the difficult playing conditions due to cold rain non-stop, our team won the second student tournament in a row with clean score.

MAI residents beat the MIET team with 45:0 score in the group tournament. Then they defeated their constant rivals, the MEPhI students – 28:0. In the final game, MAI rugby players met with the winner of group "B", the MGMU team. The match ended with the 47:0 score.
