400 MAI residents became participants of the large-scale action "Waltz of the Peoples of Russia"

On September 21, on the International Day of Peace, more than 200 pairs of MAI students together with thousands of people from various Russian regions, took part in the most massive event of the Year of Cultural Heritage – the "Waltz of the Peoples of Russia". The event was held at VDNKH in front of the "Friendship of Peoples" fountain.3075 couples danced waltz to the “Snowstorm” suite by Georgy Sviridov, performed by the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, and became participants of the waltz, performed by the largest group of people in the world, setting a new record. Festive concert with the participation of famous singers and musicians became the final note of the event.
