MAI cafe “Elochka” opened after the reconstruction
Another modern space joined the list of the cafes of Moscow Aviation Institute campus. On August 31, the reconstructed cafe "Elochka" opened at its historical place — near the building No. 3.
"Elochka" is one of the oldest MAI cafes, it appeared in the early 1950s. Over the past year, large-scale reconstruction has been carried out, the aim was to make the legendary place even more cozy and comfortable for MAI residents. The menu was also changed and now it enlists dishes from different countries of the world. For example, here you can have a burger, try Greek-style salmon or order spaghetti Bolognese for lunch - all pastas are being cooked right in front of the visitors right before serving in few minutes. There are also soups, salads and fresh pastries, including cakes, on the menu.— We cook all the dishes from fresh products that passed careful control, — says Irina Burmistrova, director of the cafe. — More than 50 visitors might be served at "Elochka" at the same time, there is enough space for everyone. We are waiting for our guests here, and we hope that our cafe will continue to be the favorite one for MAI students and employees.
