MAI became the participant of the Geek Picnic – international science and technology festival

On July 30, Muzeon Park of Arts (Moscow) hosted the Geek Picnic – international science and technology festival, and Moscow Aviation Institute was one of its participants.

Traditional activities were organized for the visitors of the MAI pavilion: they were provided with the opportunity to try on the role of the drone operator, to find out more about the 3D technologies and create their own figure and also to make friends with nice robots, and besides all that to make a photo with the cosmonaut from MAI. In the lecture hall the MAI experts spoke about the professions of the future and the capabilities of the unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Geek Picnic has been carried out since 2011. It is the most popular science festival in Russia, gathering all together all the science lovers. In 2022 the event expanded and there were four events in fact: Geek Day on May 25, Geek Picnic on July 30, Geek Camping is to be held on August 12-14, and there will be Geek Awards in November.
