Military, navy, air attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar visited MAI
On May 18th, 2022 military, navy, air attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, brigadier general Moe Kyaw, visited Moscow Aviation Institute.
The partnership between MAI and the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has been fruitfully developing since 2003; during the time MAI has trained more than 600 specialists and scientific personnel for the Myanmar aerospace industry.
Throughout the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation. Alexey Zarechenskiy, Deputy Head of International Department, made a presentation on the main educational programs implemented at the university. For brigadier general Moe Kyaw and his spouse, Mrs. Khin Pa Pa Win, were given a campus tour. The representatives of the Embassy visited the model of the ‘Almaz’ orbital station, educational laboratory of the ‘Design and Certification of Aviation Equipment’ Department, and then held a meeting with the students from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar who are currently studying at MAI Master's and Postgraduate programs.
As a result of the meeting, the parties reached preliminary agreements to increase the number of students sent by the Embassy for training at MAI.
