MAI delegation selects the applicants from Turkey according to the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation

Representatives of the Moscow Aviation Institute take part in selection interviews of the applicants from Turkey who have applied to study in Russia under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation. Interviews are held from 20 to 24 December at the Russian House in Ankara. Selection is carried out for all levels: bachelor's, master's and postgraduate studies.More than 500 Turkish citizens have already applied, 150 of them will be able to come to study in Russia in September 2022. The most popular areas of training this year were software engineering, aircraft construction and power engineering.Delegations from five Russian universities, as well as observers from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Education attend the interviews.During their visit to Turkey, representatives of the Moscow Aviation Institute visited two aviation lyceums in Ankara, where, in addition to the main subjects, students study general technical disciplines: electrical engineering and electronics, hydraulics, thermodynamics and engine theory, aeromechanics and the basics of aircraft structures and many more.Russian language is taught in aviation lyceums in Ankara. Upon graduation, many students plan to enroll in undergraduate and specialist programs at various Russian technical universities. In addition, the delegation visited the leading technical university of Turkey, the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, in order to establish further cooperation.
