MAI made the presentation of weight platform at the Nobel Vision forum
Moscow Aviation Institute participated in the Nobel Vision international forum. Open Innovations 2.0, which took place in Moscow on December 7. The event became the continuation of the annual Open Innovations Forum and was held online and offline.
Offline events of the forum were held in Skolkovo. MAI presented its innovative development – the software package for aircraft weight design.
The work on the weight platform is carried out together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The unified software environment will allow the combination of separate software products that are now used to solve individual problems of weight design, analysis, and control of aircraft products. This will help reduce the number of design errors that lead to missed deadlines and, as a result, increase the cost of the finished product, as well as increase the fuel efficiency of the finished product.
The International "Open Innovations" forum was held for 9 years already and is now one of the most famous and authoritative discussion platforms dedicated to innovation topics. Every year the leading educational and scientific organizations of the country present at the event the latest results of their research work. This year, the main topic of the forum is Discovering NextTech. The Forum is one of the official events of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia.
