MAI wins the World Cup in aeromodelling in the "Air battle" class

On October 16-17, the final stage of the F-2D Model Aircraft Sport World Cup took place – the air battle, in which eight teams from Moscow Aviation Institute took part. The competitions were held in Sochi.

49 crews from 14 regions of Russia, and from Latvia, Bulgaria and Belarus took part in the tournament. Artem Pavlov became the winner of the competition, he is the student of the Center for Aircraft Modeling of Students of Moscow Aviation Institute and the Physics and Mathematics School of Moscow Aviation Institute, candidate for master of sports. He won the Junior World Cup.

Honored Master of Sports, MAI employee Igor Trifonov became the owner of the World Cup in the main standings. In the team standings, the MAI team took an honorable second place.
