MAI is among Top-21 Russian Universities
On 9 June, RAEX (RAEX-Analytics) presented the tenth annual rating of the best Russian universities in the framework of the IX International Forum of Higher Education Institutions "Global Competitiveness". Based on the results of the year, Moscow Aviation Institute moved up, taking 21st place. MAI is one of the most dynamically developing universities in Russia and over the last five years, it has improved its position in the RAEX rating by 14 positions.

The rating agency names the best universities in terms of conditions for high-quality education and the level of research activity. According to these criteria, MAI for the year also showed growth by four and five positions respectively.

MAI's connection with the real sector of the economy is singled out by the authors of the rating. The educational process at the university is practice-oriented. During their studies, students are involved in real projects of the university's partner companies, leaders of high-tech industries. Thanks to this, MAI has been in the top 15 universities in terms of the employers' demand for graduates for several years now.

RAEX-100 has been compiled annually since 2012. It is the only Russian ranking that has been audited by the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence. The assessment applies a comprehensive approach and considers more than 40 criteria, using both statistical and reputational indicators.
