MAI hosts Open Day for applicants from CIS countries
On 1 June, the MAI Open Day event was held online for applicants from the CIS countries and near-abroad.Live on MAI's Youtube channel, viewers were told in detail how to become a student at Russia's leading technical university. The guests had a chance to get detailed information on the application procedure, admission terms, and entrance examinations, to learn about the rich student life, diverse opportunities to develop talents and abilities at MAI, to build an individual educational path.MAI offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs for students from the CIS countries. The structure of the university includes 12 institutes with more than 50 directions of training and specialties. They are structured into 9 mega-directions, two of which were described in detail at the event: "Aircraft Engineering" and "Materials and Modern Technologies". Denis Prokopenko, Deputy Director of the Institute No.1 "Aircraft Engineering", Vasiliy Dobryansky, Deputy Director of the Institute No.9 "General Engineering Training", Alexey Zarechensky, Deputy Head of the International Activity Department of MAI, and students addressed the audience. Alexander Getmanov, executive secretary of the MAI admission committee, spoke about the changes in the admission rules.
