MAI held a masterclass on "Innovations in aircraft engine construction"
First, the students learned about the principles of jet propulsion in the air, and the specifics of the working process in aircraft engines for passenger and combat aviation and the main stages in the formation of the Russian aircraft engine industry.
After the master class, the participants were taken on a tour of the Institute's laboratories and the Institute's educational and museum complex No. 2 'Aviation, Rocket Engines and Power Plants'. All visitors also saw the laboratory and scientific stands where the functioning processes of aircraft engines are studied.
