AviaHackathon-2021 Participants to Develop Web Widget for MTS Customers
In two weeks, on the 23rd of April, Moscow Aviation Institute will announce the launch of the 4th Aviahackathon - the most ambitious international hackathon in the aviation industry. The experts of the partner companies have already prepared the cases for the participants to solve. Thus, the MTS plans to present the task of developing the client web widget at Aviahackathon.
“Our case is based on a task related to creating a mobile signature service for the B2C segment. We chose it because today it is higly relevant for the global economy. In the conditions of digital transformation, the number of services available is constantly growing, and that requires introduction of simple electronic signature. We offer to develop unified decision that might be used in almost any sector of the economy”, the MTS ICE (Innovation Coach Expertise) projects tribe project head manager Konstantin Arkhipov said.
Konstantin Arkhipov says that the hackathon is regarded by the company as a means of finding non-standard, “outside of the box”, case solutions that might be of interest also for airports, airlines, and their partners. Those authors who will submit the best solution may count on a job offer from MTS. The winner will also receive special MTS-branded gifts.
"We would like to see interesting decisions that might be considered for further introduction into business processes and inspire us to work in this direction," the MTS representative emphasized. “Such events are very useful to all the parties. The participants, who develop the project in a very short time, get the opportunity to experience their strength, develop hard and soft competence, draw conclusions and adjust their development trajectory. As part of cooperation with the MAI IT center, the company's experts conduct specialized courses for future masters for the third year already. In 2020, the largest number of applications for internship and employment came from MAI students and graduates. The company participates in Aviahackathon for the second time. In 2020, MTS experts prepared a “pandemic-friendly” task, which aims to develop a platform for remote flexible adaptation of a new employee. The proposed solutions gave impetus for the development of digital HR services and training in MTS, and the winners received an internship offer.
