MAI announces the winners of the "Science on camera" photo contest
On the 17th of January, the results of the “Science on camera” photo contest organized by Students’ Scientific Research Center, were summarized in the Moscow Aviation Institute. The competition was launched in March 2020 as part of the celebration of the University’s 90th anniversary.
More than 50 art pictures of all genre, depicting various scientific topics were submitted by MAI current and graduate students, and employees. Only six photos were shortlisted to become candidates for the victory at the final stage. It took more than a month to select the best photograph upon voting, in which both Moscow Aviation Institute students and employees participated.
Eventually, Mikhail Tumaev, who is a student of the Institute 3 "Control Systems, informatics and power engineering”, was recognized as the winner by the majority of votes for his pictorial photograph entitled "Etude in Engineering Colors".

The second and third places with a minor difference in the number of votes are due to Ekaterina Zhuravleva, the engineer of the department 310 "Electric power, electromechanical and biotechnical systems", and Anna Arzyutova, the student of the Institute 6 "Aerospace", respectively.

The winner of the contest will be awarded an instant print camera, while all the finalists will receive certificates and memorable gifts. We congratulate all the winners and thank everybody for their participation.
