Russian Aerospace leaders were chosen among students in MAI

Three hundred students of the Russian technical universities submitted their projects to the competition "Student Leaders of the Russian Aerospace Industry" that was held by Moscow Aviation Institute with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

The participants had to go through three stages in order to pull out the victory. During the first stage the students, who applied for participation, answered the questions and passed the tests. 150 students chosen by the expert commission were divided into groups. Each group received a unique business case and had to solve it during the whole week. As the result of the second stage there were 15 unique projects ready.

During the third stage the experts had to determine 30 most active and proficient participants. Online education course that consisted of 15 events — seminars, lectures, workshops and debates — was organized for the competitors that were chosen. The leading experts of Russia in soft skills and representatives of the country’s aerospace industry spoke to the participants: Margarita Kantina, Director of the Leadership Management Russia, Larisa Mikhailova, Director of the foundation for promotion of Russian culture in Russia and abroad "Dialogue in Russian", Mikhail Nazemnov, Director of the department of personnel development of the Khrunichev Space Center, Alexander Khvan, the supervisor of the joint institute of Moscow Aviation Institute and Shanghai Transport University, and many others. The special guest — a well-known blogger, private pilot, MAI graduate Andrey Shepelyaev also shared his experience.

The winners of the competition were guys from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Magadan, Irkutsk, Perm, Voronezh, Moscow and Leningrad regions, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Cheboksary, Veliky Novgorod and Ufa. Seven MAI residents became the best participants: Grigory Mirgorodsky, Igor Alexandrov, Ekaterina Vikhrova, Lev Serebryakov, Maxim Cherkunov, Klim Predein, Olga Suvorova.

All the participants of the second stage received the links to the professional tests. The most active contestants became holders of the international certificates from the competition partners — Leadership Management Russia. 30 winners received branded smart watches as a gift and the certificates for participation in the excursion program, with the options they can choose themselves.

During the online streams the speakers raffled the special prizes — branded hoodies. The most attentive and quick participants who became the winners of mini-contests also received the presents.
