MAI took part in the international Testing&Control exhibition

On October 27-29, the MAI experts took part in the international exhibition of testing and control equipment Testing&Control in Russia. The exhibition was held at Crocus Expo with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the government of the Ministry of Defense and leading state corporations.

The participants of the exhibition are the manufacturers and suppliers of measuring, metrological, testing, analytical, production control equipment. This year MAI was the only University that took part in this significant event. Innovative developments of the Institute №. 3 "Сontrol Systems, Informatics and Electric power engineering" were presented at the MAI stand: Departments 305 and 307 and the Department of experiment automation:

• Department 305 "Automated complexes of orientation and navigation systems" presented the Diagnostics-M complex based on multi-rotor UAVs.
• Department 307 "Digital technologies and information systems" presented breaking machine for static testing, liquid level meter for IoT systems, an information system for displaying experimental results, and mobile application for measuring machines.
• The Department of experiment automation of the Institute No. 3 (UAE) presented aircraft-type UAVs used at the NTI Olympiad, a UAV flight simulator and autopilot for the NTI Olympiad, a small-sized terrain layout, as well as walking robots for working with schoolchildren.

The Moscow Aviation Institute was represented at the exhibition by: the Head of the UAE Alexander Egorov, Associate Professor of the Department 305, Deputy Head of the UAE Dmitry Surkov, Head of NIO-307 Sergey Tretyakov, UAE engineer Andrey Nechipurenko, engineers of NIO-307 Maxim Korobkov, Vladislav Baranov and Andrey Gorelov.

"This is quite a significant event, as experts finally have the opportunity to get together and discuss live both the current state of the market and its development prospects. It is especially pleasant that MAI stand and its developments this year aroused great interest, there are preliminary agreements on cooperation with several potential partners and customers. " - said Fyodor Vasiliev, Head of the Department 307.

The VI Russian scientific and technical conference “Measurements. Trials. Control”. The event was supported by MAI, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, ROSCOSMOS State Corporation, the Federal Agency for technical regulation and Metrology, GosNII GA, TsAGI named after N.E. Zhukovsky, CIAM named after P. I. Baranov, and VNIIMS.

In the special section of the Roscosmos State Corporation "Metrology, measurement and testing in the rocket and space industry", the head of the UAE MAI, General Director of AVIATEX, candidate of technical Sciences, Professor of the AVN of the Russian Federation Alexander Egorov made a report "Development of technology for creating intelligent automated systems for monitoring and controlling test stands of a new generation for ground testing of RCT products".
