MAI listed in the best universities physics rating for the first time
For the first time, the Moscow Aviation Institute was listed in the rating of the world’s leading universities in the field of physics, the Physical Sciences, compiled by experts from the British Agency Times Higher Education. The University also confirmed its position in the rating of the best engineering universities-THE Engineering & Technology.
Within the walls of MAI constant development and improvement of future competencies — from mathematical modeling to additive technologies — is permanently carried out. This allows the University not only to maintain its traditional industry leadership, but also to enter new high-tech markets and create breakthrough solutions that are competitive across the globe. Noticeable increase in research activity, involvement of students in it, development of competence centers, creation and implementation of comprehensive programs of interaction between the University and industry leaders — all this allows MAI to claim national and international leadership in a number of scientific and educational areas.
The Times Higher Education Agency has been rating universities for more than 10 years and it is one of the three most prestigious evaluators of the quality of universities worldwide. Its events annually attract tens of thousands of participants both in person and online. In addition, the Agency serves as expert platform for discussing trends in higher education. The Times Higher Education ranks universities by 13 indicators, including expert assessment of the quality of education, research activity, international integration and financial stability.
