MAI Awarded Diplomas with Honours to International Students
On July 7, a graduation ceremony for international students of MAI Russian medium programs was held. The diplomas with honours received 32 students.
As a precautionary measure in case of the spread of the coronavirus disease, university governance made a decision not to hold mass graduation ceremonies, except awarding diplomas with honours. Other students will receive their degree diplomas individually in a solemn envelopes.
The awarding of diplomas with honours was held at the new laboratory of the School №6 “Aerospace”, where exposition of Almaz orbital space station is located. The event began with a speech of the Rector of Moscow Aviation Institute, who congratulated fresh graduates with a brilliant completion of a course and wished them success on a career path. Every speaker of the event noted how well graduated coped with diploma works in such a difficult time.
Traditionally, the graduates themselves were given a word. Kanika Aggarwal, graduate of Master’s degree program in Spacecraft Engineering from India, thanked the university and said they new dreams, new hopes, new beginning are awaiting for them, young engineers, after hard work and the first fruit of success.
The diplomas with honors were awarded by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dmitry Kozorez and Heads of MAI Schools. The procedure was followed with epidemiological and sanitary standards.
After solemn ceremony, happy graduates went to a festive photo shoot at the Main Square of Moscow Aviation Institute, where they say goodbye to university.
