MAI at the Moscow International Education Fair

From April 26 to 29, the Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) was held, in the business and exhibition program of which Moscow Aviation Institute took an active part. The MIEF is a platform for communication of all participants in the education ecosystem. This year it was  dedicated to the new subjectivity in education.In 2020, the fair was held online: traditional discussions and round tables were held in virtual rooms. Broadcasts in the format of streams were held on the official website of the MIEF.On April 27, Pyotr Ukhov, Head of the MAI E-Learning Support and Monitoring Department, took part in the plenary discussion “Teachers at Remote Work: Heroes of Our Time”. The participants of the discussion told how they restructured their work in connection with the transition to distance learning, what problems and questions arose, how they managed to survive the first weeks of distance learning and what successful practices were gained.On April 29, as part of the MIEF, with the participation of MAI, a round table was held on the problems of the development of higher education "New Educational Products: Catching the Wind of Tends." The Director of the MAI IT Center, Maria Bulakina, spoke about activities of Moscow Aviation Institute in the field of the formation of new educational products, as well as how the university manages to respond to modern requests and trends.A virtual exhibition of educational technologies, infrastructure and intellectual solutions was also presented on the MIEF portal. These include an online exposition of new solutions that MAI offers for students. In the presentation videos of the MAI “ Trajectory of Take-off” children's technopark, the university spoke about the laboratories, projects and victories of technopark students in various championships, as well as about the benefits that graduates of the technopark can get.The MAI Technopark “Take-off Trajectory” was also presented in the framework of the educational tourism project “City of Discoveries”, among the organizers of which was the Moscow Committee for Tourism and the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow.A separate block at the exhibition of educational technologies was presented by the MAI Pre-university School, MAI IT Center and MAI Business School. The materials posted on online information stands will be available on the MIEF portal for one year.
