Space Project Week Was Launched with the MAI Support
The virtual interregional project is dedicated to Cosmonautics Day, the 55th anniversary of the first spacewalk of the USSR cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Alexei Leonov and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.The organizers of the event are the Administration of the Troitsk city district, the Risksat research company, and the N. V. Pushkov Gymnasium.The project is implemented with the support of School No. 6 "Aerospace" of Moscow Aviation Institute and other institutional partners.Space project weeks are designed to popularize the history of the development of Russian and world cosmonautics, the Russian space program, as well as to draw the attention of schoolchildren to the aerospace industry. In addition, the project aims to develop in children the skills of design, search and research.The following virtual and distance events and activities are provided for participants:
  • excursions to the best cosmonautics museums in Russia and the world;
  • exclusive interviews with legendary cosmonauts, as well as “sound autographs” of great scientists;
  • participation in the "Gagarin test", space quizzes and contests;
  • development of projects on remote sensing of the Earth, space design, space medicine and journalism;
  • participation in the action "Immortal regiment - the story of my family."
The project week will end with an online conference where all participants will be able to present their projects and share experiences.More information.
