Vietnamese Students of MAI and SUM celebrated the Spring Festival

On March 1, Vietnamese students of Moscow Aviation Institute and State University of Management celebrated the coming of spring at the MAI Student Cultural Center. The Vietnamese student communities of two universities teamed up and with the help of MAI International Department celebrated two Russian spring holidays: the Defender of the Fatherland Day and the International Women's Day. 60 students participated in the event. The Vietnamese youth sang songs, held contests, danced and made creative performances.At present, 101 foreign students from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam are studying at MAI. The University is actively developing cooperation with the region: participates in the Universities of Russia project, holds Olympiads for schoolchildren, implements double degree programs with Vietnamese universities.Thus, in October 2019, MAI and Vietnam National University (VNU) signed a Network Agreement on launching a joint undergraduate program in the field of Aircraft Engineering.
