Awarding Ceremony of MAI Graduates with Honours

On February 18, the solemn awarding ceremony of graduates with honours took place at the Main Academic Building of Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University). Inna Svyatenko, Chairman of the Council of the Federation Committee on Social Policy,  MAI Rector Mikhail Pogosyan, directors and teaching staff of MAI schools came to congratulate the graduates.Rector of Moscow Aviation Institute, graduate of the School №1 "Aircraft Engineering" in 1979, Doctor of Technical Sciences, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mikhail Pogosyan addressed with greetings and congratulations to the graduates. He congratulated them on their graduation and noted that today the best MAI graduates have gathered in this room, who have achieved success, which means they know how to set goals and achieve them. In total, 57 MAI students received diplomas with honours. The leaders are School №1 “Aircraft Engineering” (18 red diplomas) and School №6 “Aerospace” (12 red diplomas).International graduates also received diplomas with honours: 4 students from Vietnam and 2 from the CIS countries (Belarus and Ukraine).Especially for graduates the performances of MAI creative teams was held at the ceremony. The student of the School №8 “Information Technologies and Applied Mathematics” Alexandra Igitova performed the song “Time Сhose Us”. And as the final gift, the song “Love Each Other” was performed by Yevgenia Kryukova, a student of the School №5 "Engineering Economics and Humanities".
