The First New Year's Ball was held at the MAI Pre-University School
On December 21, the First New Year's Ball was held at the Pre-University School of Moscow Aviation Institute. The festive event was attended by schoolchildren, teachers, the administration of the school and invited guests from MAI.
The theatrical performance “The Nutcracker” became the central event of the evening program. The scenes changed by ballroom dancing, which the participants rehearsed for two months: slow and Viennese waltz, polka, padegras.
The program also included creative performances: schoolchildren and teachers of MAI Pre-University School were dancing, singing and playing musical instruments.
At the end of the evening, the names of the king and queen of the ball were announced, which were selected by voting. They were students of the grade 10: Daria Cherepanova and Dmitry Popov.
Also during the evening, a charity auction was held, the creative lots of which were prepared by the teachers of MAI Pre-University School. Among the most popular lots were an individual excursion to any exhibition with expert accompaniment of a History of World Art teacher, tea drinking with a native speaker and an English teacher, travel design to anywhere in the world from a Geography teacher. The auction and charity lottery allowed to collect more than 30 thousand rubles, which will be spent on the purchase of equipment for the search and rescue detachment "Lisa Alert".
Evening has come to the end with an atmospheric New Year's disco.
