El Salvador's Ambassador to Russia Efren Arnoldo Bernal Chevez congratulated students with the upcoming New Year and said that despite the fact that the students were far from home, they were not alone here and embassy staff were always happy to help them. The New Year’s party was attended by 6 representatives of the Salvadoran Embassy and 2 representatives of MAI International Students’ Educational Center (ISEC).
After the congratulatory speeches, a holiday dinner, student performances, exchange of memorable gifts and disco were held. The students enjoyed the evening and played a lot of games.
“The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Even for a while the students felt at home. We hope that such holidays will become traditional, and the number of students from El Salvador will grow,” said Elena Baranova, Head of MAI ISEC.
