Art Exhibition “MAI Virtuosos” Has Been Opened at MAI
On November 27, at the Museum Complex of Moscow Aviation Institute, the grand opening of the 1st art exhibition “MAI Virtuosos” took place.
A bright and extraordinary event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. University staff and students found the opportunity to attend the event, and no one left disappointed! The symbolic cutting ceremony of the scarlet ribbon was held by Deputy Vice-Rector Andrey Vysikantsev and Chairman of MAI Staff Union Sergey Kolesnik.
The idea of the exhibition was not born out of the blue. In March of this year, the staff union organization appealed to the MAI students and staff to send their copyright materials in the literary and artistic almanac. The staff union committee received 20 applications from employees and 5 from students of Moscow Aviation Institute. Beautiful paintings, poetry, prose, applied art - such a variety of genres! The name of the almanac was born by itself: "MAI Virtuosos". The issue turned out to be bright and colorful.
The response of the audience and the interest of the public demonstrated the relevance of this project, so it was decided to hold an exhibition dedicated to the first issue of the almanac, thereby giving an opportunity for more students and employees to see excellent works.
And now - the first day of the exhibition. During the opening ceremony, welcoming and approving words of support for the new tradition sounded. The authors presented their paintings with enthusiasm and excitement, and the authors of the poetic section read their own poems.
After visiting the exposition, the audience shared their impressions of the exhibition with colleagues, highlighted the most liked paintings.
The exhibition will continue its work until December 19, 2019. Opening hours: every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to come!
And also we invite you to become one of the participating authors of the subsequent literary and artistic almanacs "MAI Virtuosos". Follow the announcements of the MAI staff union organization in social networks and the news on the MAI website!
