MAI Launches Double Degree Program with Vietnam National University

On October 28, the representatives of Moscow Aviation Institute and  Vietnam National University (VNU) signed a Network Agreement on launching a joint undergraduate program in the field of Aircraft Engineering.The delegations were headed by MAI Rector, Prof. Mikhail Pogosyan and VNU Vice-Rector, Prof. Son Bao Pham respectively. Both delegations included scientists and representatives of various departments, as well as MAI Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dmitry Kozorez and Vice-Rector of University of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Chu Duc Trinh.During bilateral negotiations the prospects of the double degree program launching and further steps of its development were discussed. Moreover, both sides held a constructive dialogue about the joint research project on UAV topic. As a result of the meeting Dr. Dmitry Kozorez and Prof. Chu Duc Trinh signed the relevant Network Agreement on the double degree educational program.After the official part of the event, VNU delegation visited MAI UAV Center, T-1 wind tunnel laboratory and flight simulators.Vietnam National University, founded in 1918, is one of the leading higher educational institutions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The representatives of Moscow Aviation Institute have several times visited Vietnamese universities, including VNU, in the framework of the project “Russian Universities”, organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi.
