Orientation Meeting for Freshmen Was Held in MAI

On September 6, an orientation meeting for 51 students of double degree programs between MAI and Chinese Universities and 7 students of academic mobility program was held. 

The orientation meeting is a traditional event, organized by MAI International Department for freshmen. The goal of the event is to get acquainted students with MAI and Russia. 

Chinese students came to study in MAI for a year, in the framework of double degree programs between MAI and Beihang University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Harbin Institute of Technology. The students of academic mobility program came to study in MAI for a semester. 

Students were greeted by the Head of MAI International Department Olga Pogosian: “I would like to congratulate you with the beginning of the academic year. We hope that this period, that you spend in MAI, will be very productive and effective for you.” 

The main objectives of the meeting were related to basic life issues, educational process, russian migration law and MAI rules. At the end of the event, students were presented with memorable souvenirs.
