MAI Participates in the Creation of a World-Class Scientific Center “Supersonic”
Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) will take part in the creation of the world-class scientific center “Supersonic”, the initiator of which was the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after Professor N. E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI).
The signing of agreement on the creation of a consortium of participants in the project for development of the “Supersonic” scientific center took place at a business session at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019 on August 28. The implementation of the project is planned in the framework of “Nauka” national project.
In addition to MAI and TsAGI, the consortium includes National Research Center "Zhukovsky Institute", Central Institute for Aviation Motor Development named after P. I. Baranov, Gromov Flight Research Institute, State Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Systems or (GosNIIAS), State Research Institute of Civil Aviation, Institute of Applied Mathematics of Russian Academy of Sciences, Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, Lomonosov Moscow State University and others.
