MAKS-2019: Spend Students’ Day with MAI

On August 30, International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019 will host Students’ Day, which has already become traditional. In the framework of this event, many Russian and international students will be the guests of the air show, who will be able to visit MAKS-2019 absolutely free that day.

Especially for all students of Russian universities, Moscow Aviation Institute has prepared an interactive Students’ Day program at MAKS.

  • From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., a conference on space and emergency monitoring will be held in the conference hall of “University Science” (Vuzovskaya Nauka - Pavilion C3), where visitors will learn about how space vehicles from orbit ensure our everyday life: the Internet, TV, radio, etc.

  • At noon, an interactive aviation-related quiz starts at the MAI stand in Pavilion D2. Winners will receive memorable souvenirs, as well as the opportunity to win a coupon for free admission to a unique aviation quiz.

  • From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the MAI stand in the pavilion “University Science” (C3), it will be possible to receive tasks for the quest, which will take participants through the territory of the air show, introduce you to the history of the aerospace industry and the latest technology. Participants who completed all stages of the quest will receive pleasant gifts from MAI.

  • A separate place in the program of the Student’s Day from Moscow Aviation Institute is occupied by the battle of young scientists in the format of the Science_Up stand-up, which will be held at 2:45 p.m. in the conference hall of pavilion “University Science” (C3). The event will be held in an informal setting: the students will battle wits: tell guests about current scientific developments and personal achievements.

MAI Students’ Day at MAKS-2019 will be held with the support of “Cloud” magazine. The publication talks about scientific and educational projects in the framework of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation.
