MAI-SJTU Master’s Degree Students with the CR939 Aircraft Project at MAKS-2019
Students of the joint Master’s degree program between Moscow Aviation Institute and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (MAI-SJTU) will demonstrate their work at the International Aviation and Space Salon within the framework of the Russian-Chinese project of wide-body long-range aircraft CR939.
Visitors of the MAKS-2019 will be able to find out the details of the three main areas of the MAI-SJTU program: “Design of Aircraft Structures from Polymer Composite Materials”, “Product Lifecycle Management Technologies for the Design of Modern Aircraft” and “Propulsion Engineering”.
The presentation area will be divided into three sections:
-
In the zone of composites, strength calculations of various structures within the framework of the tasks will be performed.
-
In the propulsion zone, an optimization of the engine bracket for subsequent production using additive technologies (3D printing) will be held.
-
The Product Lifecycle Management zone is used to describe the work of other groups on the SCRUM board in the framework of sprints (the study of all requirements and planned product improvements, prioritized - Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog, planning the next sprint).
Recall that in 2017 the Moscow Aviation Institute together with Shanghai Jiao Tong University launched targeted corporate Master's programs with the aim of creating a personnel reserve for the Russian-Chinese project of wide-body long-range aircraft CR939. In June - July 2019, Russian and Chinese students defended their final thesis.
The demonstration will be held at the pavilion C1 at the MAI-SJTU stand, the working language is English.
