MAI Youth Took Part in the Forum "Engineers of the Future 2019"
A delegation of Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) took part in the VIII International Youth Industrial Forum “Engineers of the Future 2019”, which was held from July 2 to 13, in the Orenburg region. In total, about 1,000 young engineers, representatives of more than 200 Russian enterprises and technical universities, were working at the Forum.
The Head of MAI delegation was Natalya Grigorenko, candidate for a degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences of the Department 305 “Automated Complexes of Orientation and Navigation Systems”. Mrs. Grigorenko made a presentation “Male Class of the UAV Navigation System for Use in Conditions of the Presence of the GNSS Signal Distortion” at the round table with the participation of Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Anatoly Seryshev and First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Engineering Union Vladimir Gutenev.
“The forum was very productive and each of us learned a lot. The organizers were able to bring together all the participants, and we all became a close-knit team in which everyone felt comfortable and found like-minded people,” - Natalya Grigorenko shared her impressions about the forum “Engineers of the Future 2019”.
The Forum was held in an on-site format on the basis of the regional health center for children and youth Yantar, all participants lived in tents. The educational program of the Forum included lectures and master classes by leading speakers in key areas of engineering science: aviation, space, production management, radio electronics, development of project teams, digital technologies, electronics and robotics.
In the business program of the Forum “Engineers of the Future 2019”, young specialists and students could take part in meetings and round tables with heads of corporations, directors of machine building enterprises, artists and politicians, as well as in round tables on various topics from engineering to industry management.
The VIII International Youth Industrial Forum “Engineers of the Future 2019” was held to involve young engineers in the rehabilitation and development of the national scientific and industrial system, as well as to bring together young people from Russia and foreign countries to implement joint projects aimed at developing engineering and related industries.
Recall that MAI team includes two international students: a second-year student of the Institute № 6 "Aerospace" Asma Betteka from Algeria and graduate student of the Faculty No. 1 “Aircraft Engineering” Pshemyslav Markevich from Poland.
“I had the opportunity to meet people from all over Russia with different experiences and levels of education. They were amazing. I visited Arduino programming classes, Android programming workshop and many others useful events. I gathered information for my research, and most importantly, I learned a lot,” - said Asma Betteka.
The Forum “Engineers of the Future 2019” was organized by the Russian Engineering Union, the Government of the Orenburg Region, State Corporation Rostec, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Association for the Assistance to Defense Enterprises.
