MAI Team at the Opening of Youth Forum “Engineers of the Future”
On July 4, the opening of the VIII International Youth Industrial Forum “Engineers of the Future” took place in Orenburg, in which students and graduates of Moscow Aviation Institute took part. Recall that our university is represented at the Forum by a team of eleven participants studying at the Faculty No. 1 “Aircraft Engineering”, as well as at Institutes No. 2 “Propulsion Engineering”, No. 3 “Control Systems, Informatics and Power Engineering” and № 6 "Aerospace".
MAI team includes two international students: a second-year student of the Institute № 6 "Aerospace" Asma Betteka from Algeria and graduate student of the Faculty No. 1 “Aircraft Engineering” Pshemyslav Markevich from Poland.
The Forum was opened with a welcome address by the Deputy Governor of the Orenburg region Denis Pasler, the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Alexander Bugayev and the Chairman of the defense committee of the State Duma, the Hero of the Russian Federation Vladimir Shamanov. MAI students have a lot of interesting things ahead: educational, business and cultural events, excursions around industrial enterprises and Orenburg region.
The opening of the Forum was met by MAI students in full readiness: the terrain was studied, the tent was set up, the guys prepared for sports competitions and made a schedule of upcoming activities. Already today, on July 5, the most interesting things begin: business and educational programs, as well as various opportunities for sports and creativity.
International students of MAI, participating in the Forum, also managed to visit the excursion to Orenburg, which started from the Children's Railway. Local guides showed the participants the main museums and major sights of Orenburg.
The Forum “Engineers of the Future” is an annual event that is being held by Russian Engineering Union with the support of Rostec State Corporation. The purpose of the Forum is to increase the role of young professionals in the development of industry.
