Representatives of the NUAA Held a Meeting with Students

On June 28,2019, a delegation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) paid an official visit to MAI. 

The main goals of the visit were to meet with students of joint MAI - NUAA master’s double degree program and to hold negotiations on further cooperation between two universities. 

The NUAA delegation was headed by Assistant President Binghui Huang, included leaders of joint master’s degree program, representatives of International Department, Aerospace Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering Faculties. 

During the visit, representatives of MAI International Department and Chinese colleagues discussed the general issues of cooperation, the results of the first student intake, and reached a decision on developing the partnership. 

At the meeting with students, representatives of NUAA congratulated them with successful graduation and got acquainted with Dean of the Faculty №1 “Aircraft Engineering” Alexander Efremov and Associate Professor of the Institute №2 “Propulsion Engineering” Alexey Ionov.  After the official part, a round table was held, during which issues of student learning at MAI and master's thesis defence at the home university were raised. 

During the visit, the Chinese delegation was also guided through MAI key laboratories.
