MAI Develops Cooperation with Mexican University
On June 20 and 22, 2019, Rector of the National Aeronautical University of Querétaro (UNAQ), Mr. Jorge Gutiérrez de Velasco paid an official visit to MAI.
It was the second meeting between two universities. In April 2019, MAI delegation headed by Mr. Dmitry Kozorez, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs participated in the Aerospace Mexico Fair FAMEX-2019 and held several meetings with Mexican universities, including UNAQ.
This time, the negotiations took place in Moscow. MAI side was represented by Rector, Prof. Mikhail Pogosian, Vice-Rector for Strategy Development, Mr. Alexander Shemiakov, Head of International Department, Ms. Olga Pogosian and Deputy Head of International Department, Mr. Alexey Zarechenskiy.
The visit strengthened the relations between both universities and clearly defined the following areas of joint activities. The parties discussed the possibility of implementing student exchange programs and the prospects for the development of joint scientific activities.
After the main part of the meeting, International department acquainted Mr. Jorge Gutiérrez de Velasco with MAI facilities and key laboratories.
